Private Training (Targeted Development)

Individual training is a precision tool — not a replacement for game-based group training.

WHY PRIVATE TRAINING EXISTS

Soccer is a game of decisions, pressure, and movement — which is why group training is the foundation of our development model. At Soccer Player Academy, private training is used intentionally to address specific technical needs, accelerate progress, and support elite development pathways.

Players are placed into private training based on evaluation, development goals, and coach recommendation.

Private training exists to:

  • Correct specific technical issues

  • Reinforce habits identified in group training

  • Provide targeted feedback

  • Support elite-level players with higher demands

Private training works best when it supports a strong group training environment.

WHAT PRIVATE TRAINING IS (AND ISN’T)

Private Training IS:

  • Targeted and intentional

  • Coach-recommended

  • Development-focused

  • Short-term or structured

  • Used to accelerate progress

Private Training IS NOT:

  • A replacement for group training

  • Sold as unlimited sessions

  • The best option for every player

  • Random or ongoing without purpose

Who Is Private Training Designed For?

PRIVATE TRAINING + SPA+ CONNECTION

Private Training Within SPA+

Players in the SPA+ Elite Development Program receive guaranteed individual development blocks each month as part of their pathway.

These sessions are:

  • Integrated into long-term planning

  • Aligned with group performance

  • Accountable and tracked

This ensures individual work enhances — not replaces — game-based development.
