Our Seasonal Training is our SMALL-SIDED Summer Training & FUTSAL Winter Training. It is designed to offer players high-quality training during the off-season: Summer & Winter. During the summertime, we play small-sided; and wintertime we do Futsal. This training focuses solely on the player's confident on the ball, skills, and technical play.
Futsal is fast and action-packed, fitness is improved while learning and having fun. We find children love playing futsal because it is exciting, many goals can be scored and many subs are made throughout the game without slowing it down. Children learn so much faster if they enjoy what they’re playing – this is futsal. The nature of the game places a large emphasis on technical skill and ability in situations of high pressure and is subsequently an excellent breeding ground for soccer competencies that can be translated into the 11-a-side format of the game.
Summer PDT stands for Summer Player Development Training. These training runs for focuses solely on the player(s) confident on the ball, skills, and technical play. Our coaches prioritize development over playing with exciting training sessions and drills. While training we understand that playing is a big part of development so we choose the "Small-Sided" game method. The “Small-Sided” environment is a developmentally appropriate environment for our young soccer players. It’s a FUN environment that focuses on the player. The small-sided game enforces all of these skill sets during play because of its size, the number of players, and the speed of play. We will run training once a week for 8 weeks focusing solely on footwork, skills, ground moves, technical play, and tactical play. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Zee
